TRADE PRESS RELEASE
INANCH LONDON TO BE OFFICIAL HAIR STYLISTS
FOR DISNEY FILM PREMIERES
The prestigious Central London based salon, Inanch, has tied up a sponsorship deal with one of the world’s leading entertainment brands – Walt Disney Film Studios. The deal will involve Inanch and her artistic team styling the hair for Disney film executives as well as for Film Stars coming over from the USA to their UK Film Premieres and Press Conferences.
Inanch London’s Salon Director, Joe Emir, who was formerly the Marketing Manager of Warner Bros International Theatres, says “Disney is recognized as the leading family entertainment brand worldwide with family brand values and it is a great honour to be given this wonderful opportunity to work with Disney in the UK. I owe this to my old colleague Lee Jury, Executive Marketing Director, at Walt Disney Motion Picture Studios UK”.
Although there have been hairdressing sponsorships of major film events such as the BAFTAS, this deal will be the first of its kind in the UK. Joe Emir says, “Having worked on film premieres in the past, there were occasions where the talent coming over from the USA didn’t have their own hair stylists at hand and it was a struggle for us to get hold of a good hairdresser in time for the premiere or press conference”.
As part of the deal Inanch London will be allocated with film premiere and preview tickets which will be used for staff incentives and client rewards. Furthermore, Disney will be supplying movie trailers and special movie clips for Inanch-TV which is the salon’s own in-salon TV channel. Inanch TV was launched by the salon’s PR & Production agency, Catwalk Creations. “We were having problems with our salon TV network supplier. The content was not being updated regularly and there were too many commercials being played” says Joe. “With Inanch-TV we have bespoke content which is updated on a monthly basis and covers the latest in Fashion TV, lifestyle programmes, travel destinations, movie trailers and our own promotional offers”.
Disney’s 2008 film release schedule of blockbuster movies include Gone Baby Gone,
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Brideshead Revisited, Wall-E and High School Musical 3.
