Micro Mist

The new revolutionary Micro Mist repairs and rejuvenates your hair, giving strength, suppleness and a longer lasting shine. The Micro Mist, as its name suggests, uses mist (not steam) generated by ultrasound to process the treatment. This works in two ways: firstly, the particles of mist are much smaller and lighter than those of steam and therefore they can penetrate the cuticle of the hair to a greater depth. This means the Micro Mist pushes the product deeper into the hair where it is needed.

Secondly, the Micro Mist has a cooling system that comes on at the end of each treatment, cooling the hair and closing the cuticle trapping the treatment product inside. This gives a much stronger and longer lasting results.

Our Philip Kingsley treatments can be applied with or without the Micro Mist processor.
The following Philip Kingsley treatments are available at our salon:

Scalp mask –
intensive scalp treatment; exfoliating, soothing & anti-inflammatory for flaking or itching conditions, and stimulating to optimise hair growth & texture.

Elasticizer –
super moisturizing, intensive treatment adds shine, suppleness, elasticity, bounce & strength to all hair types.

The Application:

- Steam – applied for 10 minutes to improve penetration of scalp treatment & allow Elasticizer to be driven into the hair shaft; delivering moisture & lasting UV protection.

- Massage – for 5 minutes to improve circulation, aid in relaxation and lymphatic drainage.

- Finish – with Philip Kingsley shampoo, conditioner & scalp tonic, selected to suit your personal needs;

Range of products used for the finishing treatment:

- Fine, limp or flyaway – Body Building range to increase body, texture, shine & strength

- Medium texture, wavy – Moisture Balancing range to deliver correct balance of moisture from root to tip. Leaves hair lustrous & manageable.

- Coarse, curly or frizzy – Re-moisturizing range replenishes moisture & rich conditioner smoothes and protects leaving hair soft, shiny and manageable

- Flaky, itchy - For troubled scalps; this mild but effective range will relieve flaking and sooth scalps whilst leaving hair soft, shiny and manageable.

All products are recommended for colour or chemically treated hair. The treatment should be applied 3 or 4 days before or after chemical processing.
