Caring For Your Hair Naturally

Your hair is your crowning glory and most people want it to look lustrous and natural so it€™s a wonder so many of us over process our hair with hair color and other treatments. This processing can damage your hair and leave it dried out and dull. Of course, there is a plethora of products on the market that will claim to restore the natural beauty of your hair, but doesn€™t it makes sense to use natural remedies instead of shampoos and conditioners that are loaded with chemicals?

It is imperative that an individual knows how to properly style and look after their hair if they wish for it to have a healthy, attractive appearance. There are a number of suggestions put forth by numerous hair care experts that are guaranteed to ensure the youthful appearance so many people desire. Firstly, as it pertains to drying your hair, many say that it would be wise to occasionally let it air day.

Wear a cap when you go swimming, or wet your hair before diving into the pool. This will allow lesser penetration of the chlorinated water into your hair. Chlorine is one of the culprits in making your hair dry and dull.

Avoid too many chemicals and overstyling. Fashion fad and trends often push us to make various hair styling and chemical treatments. Hair coloring, perming, blow-drying, ironing, bleaching... they may give you amazing hair after treatments but these processes change the structure of the hair that in the long run, it cause breakage, split ends, or it make the hair dull.

Styling hair extensions can be tricky, especially if your extensions aren't made from real human hair. A soft bristled brush is the best way to go about it, always making sure you start at the bottom, brushing in a downwards motion, before moving further up. Brushing straight down from the top can pull the hair extensions out, so it's best to work slowly. It is also a good idea to let your hair dry naturally and keeping the use of hair straighteners and other heated styling products to a minimum. This will help prolong the life of the extensions.

Another method to naturally regrow hair is to commit to a full night of sleep. Your body is very advanced and is capable of healing itself if given proper rest. Countless studies have shown that lack of sleep can have disastrous effects on the body. Taking care of your body also means taking special care of your scalp and follicles. Do not use harmful chemicals on your hair that are not FDA approved.

Conditioning

Re-condition fresh hair with a daily instant moisturizing conditioner, or if you need a heavier product you can use a deep conditioner. Apply selected product generously to hair, from root to tips and comb through ensuring even saturation. Let set a few minutes or put a shower cap on for the duration of the shower for ultimate penetration.

Curing or treating the underlying cause will restore hair to its natural growth cycle in many cases. However it is now possible to speed up the recovery process and get your hair back to its previously healthy state by using commonsense methods. There is no need for hair transplants or expensive surgery in the vast majority of cases.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Take cup apple cider vinegar and mix it well in a gallon of distilled water. Store and refrigerate it. Now, shampoo your hair and rinse it thoroughly. Then take 2 cups of this mixture and pour it over your scalp and let it saturate your hair. Use cold water for rinse as it will remove all the remains of hair styling products from your hair.
