What were your thoughts on the evening?

The Great Lengths awards evening was truly an amazing night. It was a great opportunity for us to celebrate our success with our team as well to network with other successful salons. Celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas was brilliant and entertaining on stage - as ever, and the creative show put on by Paul Falltrick was very inspirational which is what Great Lengths is all about. The Great Lengths team deserve an award themselves for putting on such a great evening!!

 

Tell us about your application entries

We went through plenty of sleepless nights to get the awards entries put together but it all paid off in the end! I (Joe) was worried that we had put too much information in, but we ensured that the main points were covered first (as per the guidelines) followed by all the extra support material.

 

What do winning these awards mean to you?

Winning 3 major awards in the presence of so many talented hairdressers and well-known salons is a once-in-a-lifetime experience which we and our staff will always cherish. It makes it even more special that this was Great Lengths' first ever UK Awards ceremony dedicated to the hair extensions industry which as we know is one of the fastest growing sectors in the beauty business.

Will you be entering again next year?

We will definitely be entering again next year, but we will probably enter the other categories which we didn't enter this year such as Rising Star of the Year for our graduate extensionist and the other artistic entries.

Why you enjoy working with Great Lengths

We have been working with Great Lengths since the day we opened our salon back in June 2005 and we are proud to be in partnership with such a fantastic “premium” brand. It goes without saying that the Great Lengths hair quality and application systems are the best in the world which is why we chose Great Lengths in the first place. We are extremely excited about working with Great Lengths over the next year, particularly on being a part of the 2011 Great Lengths Artistic team, which is a great opportunity for us to showcase our creative work.
