Why are LCN Gel Nails better than Acrylics?

Anyone who’s a connoisseur of Nail cosmetics will know all about LCN and Acrylic nails, and the advantages each carry, but those of you out there who aren’t so in the know, it might be a struggle choosing which is better, especially if you have no idea what they are!

Acrylic Nails are artificial nails that are pasted onto your real nail. They’re probably the most widely known variety of Nail Cosmetics available, and are sold everywhere, however, always beware of cheap acrylics, as they can look thick, fake and plastic!

LCN Nails, or Light Concept Gel Nails, are made of a gel-like, light cured resin, and are safer, more natural in appearance, and they are a lot more durable then your typical acrylic nail, and a lot of ladies say that after LCN Gel Nails, they’ll never go back to acrylic!

LCN Nails are very highly regarded by professionals and consumers alike, because they carry a lot of great perks that Acrylics just don’t. Nowadays you can get Acrylic from just about anywhere, even from your local chemist and high street clothing store! The problem with these however, are that they look cheap, obviously fake, and can often be very thick on your nail and carry the blatant sheen of plastic, instantly revealing to everyone that your nails are fake!

Light Concept Nails are a resin with a consistency similar to that of honey, which sets as a structure that is stronger than your typical acrylic alternative, to provide a longer lasting nail treatment, so you won’t be missing one or two after the first week!

Anyone who’s had acrylic nails in the past will know what I mean when I say that… But the secret to LCN Gel nails are in their structure. They’re actually very flexible, which prevents breaking and cracking, and they’re not likely to be dropping off any time soon! They last for up to 4 weeks! Acrylics tend to start popping off any point after you’ve had them done, and they can sometimes be quite painful! And pain is the last thing we want when we’re trying to look glam, because being gorgeous shouldn’t be painful should it?

As well as this, LCN Gel Nails have no harsh chemicals, and no nasty smells that you get with acrylics! You’ll be amazed at the process as the gel is sculpted onto the tip of your nail or the nail itself, and then dried under a UV light, resulting in a smooth, gorgeous finished, in a range of colours and styles, from a very natural looking clear, all the way up to bright rainbows and French manicures! And they look so seamless nobody will know that they’re not your own nails.

You’re also always safe with LCN Gel nails, because only trained experts are allowed to apply them, ensuring that your nails are ever damaged, and that you will always results in perfection. Acrylics can sometimes be applied by people who aren’t properly trained, and can sometimes result in damage to the nail bed, why risk it when you can guarantee yourself nail safety?

There’s no argument, Light Concept Gel Nails are overtaking acrylics fast! Because more and more people are realising that they could have gorgeous nails just like the celebs without worrying about their nails once the acrylics come off!
