Hollywood Came to Inanch London!
The 81st Academy Awards was celebrated on Sunday 22nd February in Hollywood and for the first time a little piece of Hollywood came to London for one night only to join in the post-Oscar celebrations. Inanch London (www.inanch.com), one of the capital’s most prestigious hair salons, is holding Oscars Night on Monday 23rd February from 6.30pm until fashionably late! Only the top media and editors from around the UK were invited to this exclusive, red-carpet ceremony which was as glam-tastic as the real Hollywood event! VIP’s (Very Important Press) started to arrive at Inanch London from 6.30pm and entered into the bijoux salon via the all important red-carpet. Guests got into the Hollywood mode by arriving wearing the latest fashion, killer heels and this season's must have accessories. Following their debut appearance on the red carpet guests were welcomed into the salon where champagne and canapés were free flowing throughout the ceremony, accompanied by star-quality live jazz music. As guests waiting for the 7.15pm call-time, the In-Salon Television Network showcased highlights from The Oscars including red-carpet appearances, the latest celebrity fashion and award winning hair styles. At 7.15pm Managing Director of Inanch London, Joe Emir took centre stage on the red carpet which ran from the entrance to the salon right through the heart of the salon floor as he welcomed all VIP’s to the glittering event. As Joe’s Oscar Speech was drawing to a close, there was an air of anticipation around the salon as all VIP’s awaited the arrival of the celebrity models. The paparazzi had their cameras poised as a stretched limousine glided up outside the entrance to Inanch London.
The first celebrity to step onto the carpet was Model & TV Presenter, Naomi Milbank-Smith. Naomi was dressed in a plunging black full length evening gown with dazzling diamante detail which could be seen twinkling as she worked the red carpet.
As Naomi worked her way along the red carpet into the main throne of the salon all eyes were on her award winning hair style that Inanch had created. A full set of Great Lengths hair extensions in deep mocha/copper really complemented her gorgeous natural tan and deep brown eyes. Inanch had styled Naomi’s hair using curling barrels, and the crowd looked on in envy as her hair glistened under the spot lights and a mane of glossy hair cascaded down her back. This style was synonymous to the look Angelina Jolie went for at the Oscar’s the previous night Once Inanch had showcased Naomi’s hair style to the VIP’s, the next celebrity to grace the red carpet was glamour model Nicola Mclean.
The crowd gasped as Nicola entered into the salon wearing a full length black sequin dresses, with cut away side panels to show off her gorgeous curves. Inanch opted for an ‘up-do’ on Nicola, making the most of her naturally thick hair. Nicola’s hair was swept up and pinned with loose, large curls decorating the look. This style was synonymous to the look Vanessa Hudgens opted for at this year’s Oscars. The final celebrity model to work the red carpet was Michelle Heatton, a long standing hair extensions client at Inanch London. Michelle looked every inch a glamour queen as she breezed past the media wearing a full length satin evening gown in black, with a built in red corset top with flower detail. Michelle had a full set of Great Lengths hair extensions in warm tones styled using curling barrels and brushed through for a wavy look with volume around the crown area.
This style was synonymous to the look Alicia Keys showcased in Hollywood the night before.
With all 3 celebrities now on the red carpet, the photographers were enthusiastically snapping away capturing photos of red-carpet beauties and their glam hair styles thanks to Inanch. Philip Sharp, Managing Director of Great Lengths joined the ladies on the red carpet to deliver his Oscar speech. Philip spoke about the quality of Great Lengths and why the brand is at the forefront of the market today, he mentioned how honoured he was for the brand to be actively endorsed by Inanch, who herself has been noted by Beauty Editors around the world as being, ‘One of the best hair extensionists’.
With Oscar speeches out of the way, it was time to celebrate and party. All media, photographers, press and celebrities made their way across the road to Iberica where the after-party was hosted. Iberica, a brand new Spanish restaurant and bar directly opposite Inanch London welcomed in the VIP’s with champagne, cocktails, canapés, and a wide selection of their signature dishes. Word spread through the media circle and within the hour more photographers and reporters descended upon Iberica to snap the celebs partying and grab all important interview moments with them. Guests partied well into the evening, enjoying photo opportunities next to a large Oscar statue that had been hand carved out of ice, endless food & drink, great company and best of all, a lineup of guests who wanted to book an appointment with Inanch to have their hair transformed using Great Lengths hair extensions.
