Great Lengths UK Hair Extensionist of the Year, Inanch Emir and Inanch London’s Salon Director, Joe Emir, visited the Great Lengths International head quarters and hair processing factory located in Rome. The 2-day trip included a personal tour of the factory by Great Lengths’ Executive Director Thomas Gold who showed Inanch & Joe the step-by-step process which each strand of hair goes through from the moment it arrives from the Indian temples in its virgin state. “The whole process was mind-blowing stuff!” commented Joe Emir. “We never knew how much is actually involved in the actual processing of the hair extensions. One could never imagine that there are over 140 people working behind-the-scenes in processing the hair extensions before the hair is shipped out to distributors around the world”.

Inanch Emir commented: “I can now clearly see why Great Lengths hair extensions are the best in the world. It’s not just about obtaining the hair from the Indian temples, colouring the hair with various colours and then shipping it out. There is an immense amount of work involved in getting the hair in to its prestige condition which is what we see from the end-product when it arrives in our salons”.

The sourcing of the hair extensions and the support given to the Indian Temples by Great Lengths from the proceeds of hair purchase was also explained in detail as well as the strict ethical practices which Great Lengths adopts before purchasing the hair - guaranteeing the source, origin, quality and ethicality of the hair used in the process.
