ELEGANT EXTENSIONS

Wedding Ideas – October 2008
If there’s a hairstyle you have your heart set on but it seems impossible for your hair, consider hair extensions. You can use them to add volume, length or colour to create the style you want. There are various types of extensions available, from the permanent real hair types to temporary wefts or synthetic hairpieces, so make sure you do your research and find out as much information as possible. If you decide on professionally applied extensions, organise this in plenty if time before the wedding. Inanch Emir at Inanch Hair Design (inanch.com) says: “Find a reputable salon that specialises in extensions and go for a free consultation. The stylist should be able to answer all your questions so you feel comfortable with them and they understand what you want.”Finally, don’t forget your colour – Inanch Emir says: “At the consultation, you should also speak with a colourist because you need to have your colour done two days before the extensions go in. Have your extensions put in at least a week before the wedding so you have a chance to get used to them.”
